Leadership

Trevor Terrill
President & Chief Executive Officer

Trevor is the Founder, Owner, President & CEO of EarthX, with over 20 years of experience in landscaping installation, maintenance, and stormwater management. With a strong eye toward business opportunities and growth, Trevor has transformed the company from a neighborhood mowing operation to a state-wide, multi-million-dollar landscaping services powerhouse.

In 2020, Trevor earned the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award from the Pikes Peak Small Business Development Council. He also supports several local not-for-profit organizations and has a passion for helping his community. In his free time, Trevor enjoys spending time with his wife, Valerie, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, and traveling.

Jim Daulton
Chief Operating Officer

Jim has over 35 years in the green industry. As our Chief Operating Officer, Jim appreciates the diversity of landscaping services in which EarthX offers. From installation, irrigation, reclamation, erosion control, light civil works, parks, recreational structures, and artificial turf projects, Jim’s level of expertise within these divisions pays dividends to the overall success of the company.

After 25 years of marriage, Jim and his wife moved to Colorado in 2019 and are truly enjoying mountain living. Together, he and his wife have four daughters and are blessed with three grandsons.

Chris Ewen
Director – Landscape Construction & Federal Contracting

Chris Ewen comes to EarthX with over 15 years of experience in golf course maintenance, landscaping/irrigation design, and construction. Originally from the Quad Cities area, specifically Davenport, Iowa, Chris graduated from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture/Horticulture. Upon graduating, Chris moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico to become the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Santa Ana and Twin Warriors Golf Club. After his time in New Mexico, Chris spent the next 13 years at Kissing Camels Golf Course and Garden of the Gods Club and Resort as a Superintendent and Director.

Chris brings a wealth of knowledge to EarthX due to his long experience with agronomy, landscaping, irrigation, and construction, and enjoys passing on his experience and knowledge to others. Chris and his wife, Danniella, have two children, Austin and Michaela. Chris and his family share a passion for all things baseball, and they are life-long fans of the St. Louis Cardinals.

Brian King, CPA
Director of Finance

Brian joined the EarthX team in March 2021, coming over from the Kansas City, Missouri market. Brian graduated cum laude with his Bachelor of Accountancy degree in 2014 and earned his Master of Science in Accountancy degree in 2015. Additionally, he passed all four sections of the CPA exam in 2016 and has retained his CPA designation in the state of Colorado. Brian began his professional career in public accounting, spending five years as a financial statement auditor with FORVIS (formerly known as BKD). He then spent two years with Custom Truck One Source, working in their rental accounting division prior to joining the EarthX team.

In his free time, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife Megan and their dog, Bear.  He enjoys snowboarding, hiking, biking, and sports of all kinds, especially baseball. Brian is a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Cardinals fan, and even played baseball at the collegiate level for Central Methodist University between 2010 and 2014. He earned the Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete Award in 2013 and 2014 and was inducted into the Central Methodist University Sports Hall of Fame in 2018.
